Location: Victoria Mill, Houldsworth Street, Stockport
External works required to all four elevations of the building; this was picked up in the PPM report completed by LcBC in 2015. Work split into two phases due to financial constraints; Phase 1 completed in 2016, involving work to North and West elevations; Phase 2, the South and East elevations, is to be completed in 2017.
Work involved pointing to stone cills, copings and brickwork, cleaning out and painting rain water downpipes, removal of vegetation and resealing all window seals.
LcBC was Contract Administrator, drafting and tendering specification to client’s requirements, appointing recommended contractor and carrying out weekly inspections, to ensure that the project was completed 10 weeks within schedule, on budget and with minimal disruption to the tenants.
